Ski & Hike By Candlelight In Wisconsin Dells

Winter in Wisconsin means snow and snow means fun. There are plenty of winter activities and things to do in Wisconsin Dells so bundle up for a winter adventure fit for the whole family!

This winter, Friends of Wisconsin State Parks is hosting a candlelight event. The event takes place at Mirror Lake State Park which is right next door to Wisconsin Dells. Head over from 6-8pm on February 4, 2017, and you’ll be able to lace up your boots for a memorable journey the whole family will enjoy.

Whether you choose to ski the cross-country paths, put on snow boots for a hike through the park or try your hand at snowshoeing by candlelight is the way to explore once the sun goes down. Mirror Lake State Park will have two one-mile trails that will be lit by torches. The trails are fit for all ages and skill levels. Along with groomed trails, Friends of the State Park system will have refreshments and snacks available to buy as part of a fundraiser. You can even warm up by the toasty bonfires!
